PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR TEACHERS
AND ADMINISTRATORS

Onsite and offsite Professional Development workshops and Site-Based Training are offered as half-day or full-day programs tailored for classroom and after school teachers, administrators, community organization staff, and parents. Using resources from the Museum’s collection and exhibitions, participants gain a deeper understanding of Latin American art, history and culture and learn strategies for integrating visual material, writing and art-making activities into classroom curricula. During the 2008-2009 academic years, programs may be offered in conjunction with a variety of themes and topics (see Program Themes).
